WHAT WE BELIEVE

In Essentials, Unity. In Non-essentials, Liberty. In All Things, Love.

Core Beliefs

We believe essential beliefs are non-negotiable for unity and salvation. They are clear in Scripture and historically affirmed by the global church. Secondary beliefs are still important, but they are not salvation issues. They include topics such as end-times views, spiritual gifts, and worship styles. On these matters, we seek charity, humility, and unity, even if we don’t all agree. In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, love.
God Is One in Three Persons
There is one eternal God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power, distinct in role, and united in essence.
(Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus is Fully God and Fully Human
Jesus is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and will return as King and Judge.
(John 1:1–5, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11)
The Holy Spirit Dwells in Believers
The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian, giving power to obey God, understand truth, and grow in Christlike character.
(John 14:16–17; Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:22–23)
The Bible is The Final Authority
The Bible is the inspired Word of God—completely true, trustworthy, and the ultimate authority for what we believe and how we live. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
All People Are Sinful In Need of A Savior
Every person is created in God’s image but separated from Him by sin. We are spiritually dead and unable to save ourselves.
(Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–3)
Salvation Is by Grace Through Faith in Jesus
We are saved by trusting in Jesus’ death and resurrection, not by our good works. Baptism is the biblical response to that saving faith.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 6:4; Acts 2:38)
Jesus Will Return to Judge and Reign
Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead, fully establish His kingdom, and make all things new.
(2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 21:1–5)
Heaven and Hell Are Real
Everyone will spend eternity either with God in heaven or separated from Him in hell, based on their response to Jesus.
John 3:16; Revelation 20:15; Matthew 25:46)
The Church Is God’s Plan for Discipleship and Mission
The Church is the body of Christ on earth, made up of all believers. We gather to worship, grow in faith, and share the gospel with the world.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:11–13)
Saving Faith Produces a Changed Life
True faith in Jesus leads to repentance, obedience, and a life that increasingly reflects His character.
(Titus 2:11–12; James 2:17; John 15:5)
